OVA is a comprehensive mobile application designed to empower PCOS-afflicted women in managing their symptoms effectively. With a user-friendly interface and a range of features, OVA aims to support PCOS sufferers in three key areas: meal planning, exercise scheduling, and menstrual cycle tracking, while fostering a supportive community.

The Problem
With 1 in 10 women in the UK suffering from PCOS, the OVA app addresses their main concerns. Extensive research and a targeted questionnaire highlight the need for personalized meal plans, exercise routines, and menstrual cycle tracking.
Solution
In response to the prevalence of PCOS, OVA, a mobile app, will address their primary concerns. The app will offer personalized meal plans, customized exercise routines, and menstrual cycle tracking to empower users in managing their condition effectively.

1. Discover
Conducted user surveys and interviews to uncover PCOS women's pain points and preferences, forming the basis for developing OVA with a user-centric approach.
2. Define
Created personas to understand PCOS women's pain points, guiding OVA's development with empathy and focus.
Hierarchical Task Analysis
We conducted a Hierarchical Task Analysis (HTA) for each user persona, breaking down their goals and tasks.
Card Sorting
Streamlined OVA's features based on user preferences, ensuring an intuitive app experience for PCOS women.
3. Design
Visualized OVA's layout and interactions through detailed wireframes, refining the design iteratively for a user-friendly and tailored experience for PCOS women.
4. Prototyping Evolution
Before:
Initially, we brainstormed and experimented with various colors and fonts for the OVA app prototype.
After gathering feedback and insights, I refined the colors, layouts, and fonts to create a more polished and visually appealing version, ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience.
5. User Testing and Refinement
We conducted user testing with 5+ participants, evaluating OVA's usability and gathering invaluable feedback. Utilizing this input, we iteratively refined the designs to align with users' needs and preferences, resulting in an optimal user experience. The System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 85% reflects the app's high usability and user satisfaction.
